13 of the 40 comments regarding Al Quida were in response to questions from the Bush Administration.

I agree she sounds nervous, but I think she'll calm down shortly. I believe her voice has always had that quality. I would not read anything into it.

I kind of think she sounds a bit nervous. But, she usually sounds that way at first and then does quite well.

President Bush wanted a NEW way to deal with AQ and he told Condi that he didn't want to deal with terrorists one attack at a time and was tired of swatting at flies.

Yeah, but unfortunately lots of people at work won't get to watch it live, and will just get the "regurgitated, edited edition" from the nightly news.

She was talking a little fast and needed to slow down and take a deep breath. Her voice is beginning to even out.
And with this much media in my face, I'd be near collapse.

She is now speaking of the sratagey they took (prior to 9/11) to rid Al-q. She said Bush told her he did not want to deal with this..."one attack at a time", said Bush told her he was tired of swatting flies

Brings up the Navy plane downed in China.
Says they had to address the deficient Iraq policy where we shot at planes violating no-fly zones but no progress being made enforcing the UN resolution.
President Bush was tired of swatting at flies.
Developed strategy: Eliminiation of the Al Qaeda network. High priority, using all aspects of our national power.

I love this!
"President Bush revived the practice of meeting with his CIA director on a daily basis."
Can it be any more clear to the mediots? Probably they will ignore that though.
To: kassie
About her nervousness --- Understandable, but I think she has a timbre to her voice that makes it sound that way. IOW -- She sounds like she always does -- IMHO.
