Her answer about the Cole is honest. Said she did not know what they would have done had it happened on her watch.

OK...I will take ABC so that I can check on Clarke. You owe me one, though; I will probably get cooties.
Do you think we should have a separate live thread for network reaction?
To: section9
Now big Jim is asking her why the Bush administration didnt respond to the Cole.

Sorry, this is shot and run, but she has not (while I was able to watch or listen) pointed out that better coordination prior to 9/11 was illegal!
CIA could not 'operate' on internal operations; all agencies were flogged in the seventies for even asking about domestic threats.
"Profiling" was taboo then and the Patriot Act is STILL being damned for allowing 'innocent' muslims to be accused of disloyalty or bad intentions.
PS: worst, second worst, part of my morning was hearing Benvineste's slimy voice and watching him assault Ms Rice.

NPR cut away from the final moments to start doing their spin. At least they're talking to David Kay, not some leftist twit, but the questions from the host are desperate and pathetic.

You're right. I had just told my son that this whole thing in unimportant as far as how well Condi does. All that matter is what the media tells voters was said.
To: Lando Lincoln
someone please note what Rush says. I won't hear him for an hour now!
To: Pukin Dog
"The media made a mistake giving Condi this forum. She beat up a bunch of old white men today, and a lesbian too for good measure." LMAO!! and a lesbian to boot! LOL

I don't think it's a weak response at all.
Clinton's weak responses to terrorism "proved" to OBL that we were weak. Condi is discussing this matter. The Bush administration wanted to make sure OBL didn't think America was weak.
