Actually I think he's going to have to crawl to Condi and ask really, really nice if he can have them back. Then she's going to have to sort them from amongst the others she cut off today . . . Hillary ain't the only one who has a lockbox.

I believe Hillary is the behind the scenes "call for Condi" to testify publicly". It was a call to "destroy her now".

"What a d*psh*t. He wants an apology" He already got one! Clarke... :D

He is trying to interupt her, and she is not letting him. He is a big defender of Clarke.
To: rintense
Exactly right! Glad you brought that to the thread's attention!
To: cajungirl
Rice says if they'd followed everything on Clarke's list they would actually have been going in the wrong direction.
Roemer interrupts again.
Rice prevails (again) and says Clarke only had to ask to brief the president. Roemer says he did. Rice says "NO" he did not make that request.

Who does he think he is fooling ? If he or any democrat had a shred of honesty they would acknowledge that had the Bush administation taken any offensive or pre-emptive action prior to 9-11 this hearing would be an impeachment one not one of national security.

I checked DU. About 80% think their people are doing well, but they are angry Condi's answers take a long time and eat the clock, and a few have said she has "made no major gaffes" and that she is parroting Bush terror teaching seminars.
I view this as a victory. They would be crowing at the huge disclosures achieved if there were anything really big happening to their benefit. The few there saying she's made no mistakes are telling. NO ONE HERE THINKS SHE HAS DONE BADLY.
I think we win this one.
Keep saying it everywhere. BCRW. BCRW. BCRW. Make it part of the lexicon. The primary obstacle to breaking up the black voting monolith is that they do not think it is culturally acceptable. Condi is the wedge to undo that.

Roemer is getting his but whipped.
He just doesn't know it. He thinks that by hectoring Condi he is scoring points. He's not. He's way behind.
