A young woman answered the phone. The toll free number was busy for several minutes, so I call the LD number.

I told her that I thought it was very inappropriate for them to react openly at all, but to cheer on bullying, condescending behavior on V's part was one of the most contemptible things that I have seen.

I pretty much went on from there because I was so mad, but that's about line I was taking.

She told me that the two family liasons were there at the hearing.

THAT REALLY SET ME OFF, SINCE THEY WERE MOST LIKELY IN THE CHEERLEADING SQUAD FOR BV.

She took my name and phone number, but I don't expect to hear from them.

I just mean that Condi has a tough job today. She's doing good.... but her job is tough because the World Trade Center got downed on her watch. I mean that is the bottom line. There are lots of reasons why it happened, but none of them change the bottom line.

She's doing good and I support her, but she's kinda in a no win situation. The best she can hope for is that the American public decides that we were doing what previous admins had done, and that there were internal reasons that we didn't do a good job.

Condi - Tons of plans at Pentagon. Unless those plans are engaged and have a purpose then those plans just sit and rarely get used. Bush wanted plan that brought ALL areas of terrorism together.

Who hamstrung the CIA and glutted our human intelligence capabilities? Who put an intelligence sharing "firewall" between the CIA and the FBI? Who cut military spending and downsized our Armed Forces?

IMO, Congress did a great deal. A great deal to make America more vulnerable to terrorists attacks.

It's very obvious that Dr. Rice is beyond compitent and knows precisely what she is talking about. She has more experience than the commission put together and knows that this cannot be presented in sound-bite form and that the answers are not simple.

The commission doesn't get that. Or doesn't want to.
