That is true. The biggest disapointment for me in all this is the apparent need to blame one of our own for an attack by the outside. I resent the attempts to blame Bush and Condi, I resent the attempts to blame Clinton. Partisan loyalty is now more heartfelt than loyalty to ~America~. This blame game is a shallow waste of good people. And it attracts the sort of juvenile cheering we hear in that audience.

One co-chairman would be appointed by the president, and a second co-chairman by the Democratic leader of the Senate in consultation with his counterpart in the House.”

Our side allowed the dem leadership to stack the deck with Clintonista lawyers who do not even have the credentials IMO to be on this commission. This was a huge political blunder for Bush to allow this commission in the first place and then allow this commission make-up although Condi may make lemons out of lemonnade.
