Former Saddam military?

Well, they never even saw combat in that region. Wasn't one (or more) divisions of the republican guard stationed in that area before Baghdad fell?

Do you have any additional info?

I have never been in the military a day in my life. The closest I have come is my son being in the military at the present.

However I followed Iraqi Freedom on a daily basis. When our guys got to the northern part of Iraq there was little to no resistance. Some of the Iraqis that claimed that they did not want to fight surrendered. Some walked back from the north to south (some barefoot). After awhile when our guys were in Fallujah all kinds of confrontations started breaking out. A decision was made to let the Iraqis police Fallujah (a joke, a plan, they are fighting the war on their terms, they never really surrendered). We had not step foot in Fallujah for months (why? we've been boondaggled, lol.) It would not surprise me that Fallujah is where the wmds are.

Karl Vick of MSNBC just reported that he was in 2 Shite cities today and the talk on the street was the Shite and Sunnis were joining together against the coalition.

Fox News reported how we underestimated al-Sadr, saying he was just a light weight just mouth.

The bottom line is IMHO we have been had by Chalabi (who the US is paying $350,000 per month), and whoever else.

We need to go back and reread some of our Iraqi Freedom threads starting with a short time prior to May 1, 2003.
