I'm a big Second Amendment rights guy, myself. Unfortunately, Mr. Bush is not, and neither is Mr. Kerry. I was merely pointing out that the practice our troops are getting in confiscating guns from the population could readily be put into use stateside. Since we are the liberators of Iraq, it is logical, is it not, that Iraqis and Americans should have (or not have) the same rights?

I'm a very strong second ammendment supporter. As far as I am concerned AKs are just fine. When the next LA Riots come, I want one for under our pillows, or perhaps sticking out of our turets.
I don't like seeing armed mobs coming at our guys with Aks or RPG launchers. Perhaps we couldn't round up all the weapons, but if we round up enough it will save US lives.
Thanks for your comments, but I completely reject the idea of our troops taking our weapons, as do you.
