This is horrible. I have not read one article claiming that this woman had a history of mental illness. Not a single one. And the method she used to kill was bloody. The surviving child will be disabled for life. In the Andrea Yates case, she DID have a history of severe mental illness and was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic, and still got jail time. I think that this woman is an opportunist who found a "get out of jail free" card. This verdict is sad beyond words.

Yes, and Tyler, Texas, is supposed to be near to the "heart" of Texas conservatism too!!!
