I would prefer we were a bit more discriminating in our immigration policy and tried to limit it across the boards and had a fat guest worker program.

We are very inconsistent and unfair.

Take white folks for example in South Africa and Rhodesia etc. We pushed them to capitulate to black rule for decades under the guise of the right thing and now that they are being killed and run out of their own countries we pressured them to surrender to the third world, where are we to help them? I'm not aware of any large program to help persecuted white farmers in Rhodesia or South Africans wishing to come here for safety or refuge. What about doing the right thing?

Now the Dems love this....I mean they get ecstatic over it and with good reason. They believe a brown America will be delivered to them and it's hard to argue that so far.

I think you're missing the point with my remark - you can't simply exclude data points from a data set and draw reliable conclusions from it. In other words asking about non-white first world countries and then excluding a large number of them from consideration is poor analysis.

Mexico is ruled by a corrupt elite that is mostly of European heritage. The are white in other words. The folks who come here are anything from somewhat to mostly "indio" or American Indian (or various types depending on the region of Mexico) heritage. They were peons in Mexico, not much different in status than the Irish who fled English rule to come to the US.
