Outside of the US,the word caucasian usually means of Northern European appearance.The word 'Aryan' was built on the Indian myth of northern invaders,then borrowed by Nietzsche,then interpreted by Hitler(and some Indians who hate their own skin-color)as fact.

Hitler's revamp of the word 'Aryan' was an attempt to encompass all the nations who sprung from Germanic blood(whether it be angle,saxon,nordic,celtic etc) against those of Slavic and Semitic blood to reclaim land.Luckily,only some of the Celts joined his side,.

As noble as it is to spin that Syrians,Indians and Iraqis are white,it just wont stick,and it really shouldnt matter.Heck,even Poles,Russians and Serbs aint qualifying for any 'Aryan Brotherhood' chapter outside of the US.

Perhaps the simplest analogy is that 'white'='western' in the eyes of the world.For any country to 'westernize' means it is,in a very un-pc matter of speaking,adopting 'white' culture.And this white culture holds up as its basis initiators like Beethoven,Shakespeare,George Washington,Goethe,Luther,English common law etc,almost always that of which is Northern European....that of which is 'white' in the eyes of the world.

Actually the term Arya is from Vedic times (3000 BC +) and Indo-Europeans are so called because they share the same racial characteristics. The first Indo-European/ARyan civilisations were in the Indus valley, Persia (Iran = land of the Aryas) and the Hittite "empire" with maybe the Mitanni included. The invader myth is dispelled with the Origins of the Aryans being moved to Eastern Persia and western Iran

this ties in with mythology -- the Persians worshipped higher gods (Ahuras) and the lesser ones became demons (Daevas), while in India the opposite family of Gods were revered -- the devas became deities while the Asuras were relegated to demonic status.

In Nordic areas, the religion remained at its primitive form with BOTH families of Gods given nearly equal status -- the Aesir and the Vanir.

If these are the "initiators" of "white" culture (which I don't think is true), that means you consider "white" culture to have originated only in the late 1700s to 1800s.

"White" culture is incorrect. There is an English culture which we are derived from, but due to the mix of Irish, Scotish, Germans, Italians, etc. we are now an "American" culture. Our main roots are still the "English" culture whose origins can be dated from either the signing of the Magna Carta (1215) or the Norman French conquest of England (1066). This "English" culture itself is a mix of Germanic and Roman (through the French) cultures. The Roman culture is derived from Etruscan and Greek sources (and if you believe the Aenid, from Troy, a Lydian/Hittite source) which is derived from Persian and Egyptian and Mesopotamian sources. The Germanic was pretty primitive but is derived from the proto Indo-European culture.
