Hispanic is not a race, it's not even really a culture anymore. Spanish is a culture and a language, but the various "Hispanic" cultures often don't have much in common except the language and in most cases the Catholic Church. The Church they of of course share with Poles, French, Italians, and Irish.
Argintinans are mostly "Euro", while some Cubans and Puerto Ricans have signifigent African ancestory. Even among mestizo groups there is considerable variation in culture depending on the Indian ancestorial culture, even just within in Mexico you have the northern tribes (Apache for instance), the Aztecs, and the Mayans, just to name three. The biggest problem with most "Hispanic" cultures is that they were under the thumb of the Spanish, rather than the English, and it still shows. They are accustomed to having a "Don". Makes them good Democrats, but they aren't stupid and that only lasts a generation or two, again same as the other non English/Scot immigrants.
