IMO, the data articulated by Pat is correct ... the numbers of white and non-white, for instance.

If that's true, and the comparison of now vs. 40 years ago is also true ... one would have to determine if there is value in contemplatinmg the prospect of increasing or decreasing those numbers.

This is the thought pattern of the policy makers.

Given we are supposed to be represented in government and not dictated to, we are then forced to recognise that the imigration pattern is not in sync with the desires and expectations of those of us whom claim to be American.

An argument can be made (and often is) regarding the definition of an American, thereby clouding the original point of discussion, which was a statement regarding the ethnic and racial make-up of America.

All that being said ... I think discourse amongst ourselves should be better directed towards idea sharing and opinion rather than the socialist tactic of saying Pat's a nut.

Don't you agree?

What does color have to do with culture? Pat is the one that brought it up with his article title. Anyone that lays wreathes for dead nazis, talks about amen corners, and speaks out against the war on terrorism the way he has is a bit off.
