I'm a tired chickee...and I have the WHOLE bed to myself for TWO nights....Mr Tiggywinkle is in Southern California spending time with his best friend after the death of his mother (best friend's mother).
Happy Birthsary, Wormbait.

Despite the troubles with mr. h's parents, my kids and mr.h and I are very close. He is a wonderful dad, setting a great example of what a man should be like, for our daughter, and guiding our son, who is 12, and needs a man's influence more than he needs mine--or should I say in a different way.
Our kids are basically good at heart too. Character flaws--all of us have them! (or should I say everyone but you and me! :-) ) And with God's help, if any major problems come up, we'll be able to handle them.
Your daughter climbs mountains? Cool! My daughter loves animals and I would not be surprised if she became a zookeeper when she grows up. And if she still does want to do that in a few years, I will do everything I can to make that dream come true for her.

Sweet dreams!
When my kids are harassing me just a bit too much I tell them in a suitably ominous voice, "Just remember . . . when you're asleep . . . I'm awake . . . " Then I cackle a bit just to add to the effect. :-)

In total agreement...
***Your daughter climbs mountains?
Little ones. Only 50 ft at this point. :o)
***My daughter loves animals and I would not be surprised if she became a zookeeper when she grows up. And if she still does want to do that in a few years, I will do everything I can to make that dream come true for her.
You're a good mom. Psycho has wanted to be a fire fighter since she was 9. I'd prefer her to arrange flowers for a living (less risky) but it wouldn't satisfy her athletic nature and compassionate character.
Okay...now I'm really going to bed. Nite...
To: Brad's Gramma
Goodnight Grammie!!
Happy Birthday and much love...

"There's a difference between the two."
The difference that liberals see is that one is a moral act - intentionally killing evil doers, and the other is a mere act of convenience.
It's fine, in their view, to act out of convenience. But this morality business, now that's scary.

I'm not saying it wasn't funny. It's just a cardinal rule in TV - you don't use children or animals.
I think what bothered me was the dems were trying to say Bush was boring - because that's what we say about Kerry. They're so juvenile - everything is payback to them.

I was born in a Catholic hospital and nuns took care of me. My dad used to tell me that they carried the babies around in the big pockets in their habits. (no, I don't believe him . . . anymore!) I still remember being amazed at the things they could pull out of those habits *L*
here's a picture of my aunt in 1939 when she was stationed in DC
