I was listening to my ABC news radio break an hour ago and the newsreader apologized for a previous story about Bush agreeing to debate Kerry in the coming weeks. It was hilarious as they said it was a bad joke. Just now, they apologized for a local report about some judge that wasn't true. Everybody's getting burned, today...including the media.

Richard BeyWhatever happened to him? I know he was a democrat, but at least he wasn't a kool-aid drinker... He obviously was a little to close to center to get on the new democrat channel....

We need to change April Fool's Day to another day because people are beginning to make the connection between pranks and it being April 1. It has come to the point where people actually come to expect pranks on April 1st.
I propose that we change April Fool's Day to a less obvious date - say October 23rd, for example. If we were to play some April Fool's pranks on October 23, most people won't suspect a thing. We can really fool some people!

I'm having a good time telling the secretary at my work that JSO is chasing a PINK ELEPHANT in downtown JAX, and have been able to corral it into ALTELL Stadium.
She's believing it.

I think we ought to get rid of it all together after I heard today that it originated in FRANCE after they adpoted the Gregorian (not sure if that's correct) calendar..... I guess their New Year lasted from March 15th until the 31st, then somehow that's how April Fools day came to be, unless that story was an April Fools joke too..... LOL Who the heck knows anymore?

This has got to be a good example of what the new "Liberal Talk Radio" will sound like.
Three hours of Frankin and three hours of Garafalo all talking negative and listening to liberal callers all talking negative and unable to answer "yes or no" questions...
To us it may be April Fools, but to liberals this will be their daily bread if that network ever gets off the ground.

Just happened to be hitting refresh on freepmail when the three separate threads on this burning issue appeared. There might be more now.
I am keeping the dream alive so someone else who gets it one day will find a kindred soul. :)
