I love the word choice these reporters use:
portraying Kerry as a "Revealing Kerry as a" would be more accurate

In a survey taken in mid-February, Kerry led Bush by 28 percentage points in those states, 63% to 35%. Now Bush leads Kerry in them by six points, 51% to 45%.Absolutely mind-boggling! GREAT JOB, WHITE HOUSE! :)

;the states where the ads have run, Kerry's unfavorable
;rating has risen 16 points since mid-February. In the
;other states, it's up just five points.
hahahahahahahahaha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up 5pts in states where no ads run. The only question is how quickly he tanks not if he does.....

I wasn't happy about the lack of response from the White House to the nasty accusations made by Kerry, Dean, et al during the Dem primary. But as time goes on, it's looking like Kerry (in boxing parlance) is a tomato can -- a Heinz tomato can.

So far, the Bush campaign has spent more than $20 million on the ads, which began airing March 4...At this rate, the Bush campaign will run out of money by October 31.
The Kerry campaign has spent more than $2 million on ads; the liberal Media Fund has spent more than $5 million...
At this rate, the Kerry campaign will run out of money by...Memorial Day.

I think he has already done that today. I can't think of anyone ever running a campaign like he has. Last week he takes a week off to vacation and today he has elective surgery. It reminds me of the way my kids used to treat homework. Put it off till the very last minute. When is the campaign going to begin?

He's going to be campaigning with a gimpy arm in a sling for the next six weeks. Not good for photo ops.

A 53% majority now say that the Bush administration is "covering up something" about its handling of intelligence information before the attacks.Well, duh! Hasn't anyone ever of classified information? OF COURSE classified info is covered up!
Anyway, nice article, positive overall.

"He's going to be campaigning with a gimpy arm in a sling for the next six weeks." He's J F K, he wants to be the "second black president" and now he's doing his Bob Dole act.
If the public bought the "two for one" of the Clintons, look what a bargain Kerry is going to be! He's a dozen different people!
Can he get Sybil to be his running mate?

Some Democratic analysts say Kerry's decision to take a week of vacation, while hard to begrudge after a grueling primary campaign, meant that Bush's ads went largely unanswered."Grueling primary campaign" my butt. Besides being the shortest primary season in recent memory thanks to McAwful's front-loading, the whole primary was nothing more than a months-long chorus of all the Rats chanting "I hate Bush!" in unison. And when in recent memory has the challenger, regardless of party, gone on vacation right after clinching the nomination?
If Bush wins in November (I only say "if" because ANYTHING can happen in seven months), I think the post mortems will all point to Kerry's vacation as his undoing. By running off to his multi-million dollar ski bungalow in Idaho to play in the snow, not only did he not hit back at Bush during the so-critical "first impressions" part of the general campaign, he sent the message that he's not taking the campaign seriously, that he thinks he can beat Bush without even trying very hard. That smacks of an arrogance that has NEVER gone over well with the public.

His trip to Idaho was but just one snag. At the Unity Dinner he was begging Clinton and Carter to help do some fundraising for him. This tells me he's having trouble raising money. The atmosphere at that DUD told me the Democrats aren't excited about Kerry.
