The only one even suggesting that Soros is Jewish, on this thread, is you. There is no mention of the "fact," if it is a fact, in the lead article. Your rant is pure delusion--paranoid, at that, if you have some personal reason to identify with Soros.

Certainly if some Russian national, living in Korea, came over here to participate in a seminar for American political actionists, on the actions of our Courts with respect to the Florida election in 2000, one could and probably should accuse him of meddling.

Frankly, Soros has been a controversial figure in the world of currency speculation for many years. You are the first person, whom I have ever encountered, who focused on the man's religious beliefs--assuming for the sake of argument that you are right about his. Most of us, who follow the financial markets, would have been a bit skeptical about George having any religious orientation, whatsoever.

You may have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed, and are simply spoiling for a fight--however ridiculous. But surely, there are better fights to get involved in than trying to defend George Soros. He is quite capable of defending himself, so far as that goes. But he is hardly a Conservative icon, who deserves support at Free Republic.

If you want further proof, learn Russian, read Pravda on your own, and learn some of that country's history.

Your reaction is precisely the reason why Europeans call us naive: reading between the lines is not indeed our forte. In your case, you cannot even recognize when someone can. Many Americans, who travelled in the former Soviet Union and were later told that EVERY SINGLE person they were in contact with reported to the KGB, also called such allegations delusional.

More disturbign is the fact that you cannot even recognize principle when you are looking at it:

You take sides; you do not even bother to think of what is right. You will aligh yourself with the lowest of the low if its against someone you do not like. Nor you will bother with the facts: I did not say anything is support of Soros --- in fact, I even called him names (scum), which is not my usual way of expression. No matter: for people like you, it's about taking sides; if you are not against Soros, you are not with us.
