I wonder if CVS would waive the requirement of a Pharmacology Degree in my case if I told them I was a Christian Scientist?

The Left is REALLY opposed to the whole "freedom" thing.
They just can't stand the thought of a business doing business the way it sees fit and letting the market decide.

This is no different that forcing doctors to perform abortions whether they want to or not.

ISn't planned parenthood doing that to the pharmicists and CVS?
To: Blood of Tyrants
this is BIRTH CONTROL not an abortion. if the pharmacist can't fill a prescription he should hand in his degree and become a preacher.
i wonder how he feels about viagra? bet he has no problem with that.

...basic health care they needSo killing your developing child is considered "basic health care"???
To: chance33_98
"Contraception is basic medicine for women." Bull. "Contraceptive" drugs are a poison. Their effect is to disrupt the natural processes of the body; to cause the malfunction of that which is healthy and functional. Fertility is not a disease.
Now, all y'all 'ladies' out there on this forum that are poisoning your reproductive systems can flame away all you like. I care not. You know I'm right.

if you're against birth control pills, how does one prevent pregnancy?
are the only acceptable means condoms? diaphragms? spermicides? "rhythm" method? withdrawal? what is acceptable?
To: contessa machiaveli
So what? Are you also in favor of forcing Catholic hospitals and charities to provide birth control in their benefits packages?
Believe me, the abortionists (like Planned Parenthood) would like nothing better than to be able to force hospitals and doctors to perform abortions on demand.
Besides, all this whiny bimbo had to do was go down the street and someone else would fill it.

So killing your developing child is considered "basic health care"??? So, every woman that takes birth control pills is a murderer? If this is the case, you will need to build enough prisons to incarcerate the majority of woman of child bearing age. While you are at it you will also need to lock up their husbands and boyfriends who are taking part in the killing of the children.

Don't have sex. Trust me, it works like a charm.

oops...didn't read about what kind of prescription was being filled. I assumed it was similar to the recent case where the pharmacy refused to fill the "morning-after" pill rx.

If you aren't married, there's always keeping your pants on. I realize that's unpopular in this current 'culture', but it has a lot to recommend it.
If you're married, there's NFP, which only requires a modicum of intelligence and self discipline. I realize that's a problem in this present 'culture' of stupidity and irresponsibility. So much the worse for 'popular culture'

If this is a woman pharmacist, bet she'd replace viagra with placebo just to help her "sisters" avoid the nasty with their husbands. Contessa, this is theater of the absurd.

Contraceptive" drugs are a poison. You are just a silly person. Contraceptive drugs merely mimic the body's chemistry at a different point in time. It's a trick.
But you seem to think there's some sort of moral outrage in taking a birth control pill. So let's imprison the pill takers. What do you do with the ladies with tubal ligations? Flog them?
And what about the condom wearers? Do they deserve the Bobbitt treatment?

if the pharmacist can't fill a prescription he should hand in his degree and become a preacher. Disagree with you there. As long as his employer is willing to accommodate his beliefs (by continuing to provide service to its customers), it shouldn't be a problem. They failed to do so in this case.
Many hospitals allow health care professionals to itemize any procedure they would not feel comfortable participating in. They do not have to accommodate, but often do.

. Contraceptive drugs merely mimic the body's chemistry at a different point in time. It's a trick. Working in the health care system, I can tell you that contraceptive drugs are not as safe as people would have you believe. I have seen a very high rate of women who are now in their late 40's and 50's who were on birth control earlier in their lives for many years, who now have terrible cancer (pancreatic, ovarian, breast). While I'm sure other factors in their lives may attribute to their diagnosis, I am also sure that birth control pills contributed to this. The "pill" is poison!

catholic hospitals are not the issue. CVS isn't a religious organization...again, if birth control pills go against what he believes is moral he should quit.
as far as sexual relations are concerned, i'm always baffled by people who are so quick to condemn women but have the "boys will be boys" attitude. it seems very talibanesque. women are the ones who must deal with unwanted an pregnancy.
