Rush is not on XM because he does not want to compete with himself in the 9 billion markets he is in.
If he were on XM he would devalue the relationship he has with his affiliates since there would be on two different outlets in the same market at the same time.

I've got XM in my truck. There are currently only about a million total subscribers worldwide at this time, so I don't think its about "competing with himself". The numbers involved don't seem to support the theory.
