The oldest person I saw snowboarding was maybe 16 years old. All us oldsters were skiing. (Snowboarders were pretty rude too - cutting people off, cursing, etc.)

Yeah, that describes the kind of crowd I was seeing on snowboards back then ...

.... all Kerry's sports require lots of expensive and flashy equipment - snowboard, windsurfer, high tech alloy bike, fancy clothes of all kinds (complete with daisy zipper pulls . . . ) Is he showing off his ability to purchase lots of high-end equipment, or what?

And I'd forgotten about that time he went pheasant (peasant?) hunting in Davenport Iowa before the caucuses -- with an orange vest from K Mart and a borrowed $15,000 shotgun (borrowed - because it was about 4 inches too short in the stock - would have beat the heck out of him if he'd actually fired the thing . . . )
