I saw him and David Gregory, too. They are stuck in old talking points and clearly have no grasp of the reality of the situation.

Timmy Russert is now slamming this whole thing and said that the reason why the WH is doing this because of PR. That fat slob is just angry about the whole thing, because the White House waited until after Russert had Richard Clarke on for an hour on Sunday before making this announcement. This does two things: 1) if/when Clarke is exposed as a fraud, Russert will look like a damned fool; and 2) it pushes Clarke's appearance on "Meet the Press" off the front page of the news.
