Re:
It makes me sad...almost to tears...knowing what these people on the left are saying and trying to do to this country. They just don't get it...
I agree with you, with the exception that I do believe the lefties get it. Or, at least they want it
POWER.
I believe they know when they lie, know when they mislead, know when they cheat, know when they bear false witness. They just don't care, because to them, the ends ALWAYS justifies the means.
IMO, the Democrat Party and their water carriers from the media, have sold their souls, They care more about POWER than they do about what's best for America and its citizens. They are mean, shallow, and shameless.
Thank God we have President Bush to lead us as we fight our enemies, foreign and domestic!

I think all the leftist rocks thrown at O'Reilly since he's been on Fox has had their effect. He now bends over backwards (or is it forwards?) to prove he can bash the Bush team as well as the next guy. He's a bully with more moral center.

Not able to be here much lately... Thanks for the ping!

I've noticed in the past few days that President Bush is back to being a puppet and/or a dummy (from Maureen Dowd and Molly Ivins.) Gets kind of tiring.

Good letter. Now we need to send one to "Hardball."

Ha! Thanks for remembering that!

I sent a letter to "Hardball." Pretty much the same as the one to the Commission, but with this line added:
"I realize that 'Hardball,' like most cable news shows, is desperate to talk about this Commission every night, but to invite a member of the Commission to come on the show to spew his partisan rhetoric is shameful."

I just saw a President George W Bush ad! In Utah even. Something about taxes and Kerry. Wow.

These partisans should keep up their attacks.
You knwo why? The American public has already decided, Clinton didn't do jack in WOT for eight yrs and they are not gonna blame Bush for his eight months in office. The more political the whole commission looks, the less credibilty it will have. I like that, discredit the whole thing before the evil hatchlings get out of its shell.
I'd let the media keep on playing this 9/11 commision thing and the war of words between Bush and Clarke. Leave kerry out in the cold. Meanwhile, the Bush team must be absolutely relentless in Negative Ads over Kerry. Do this while Kerry is out of cash, out of the media spotlight. Bush must drive Kerry's unfavorables into the mid 40s in the next few weeks.
I know the Bob Woodward hit book will come out in about 2 weeks. All those charges against the President on the Iraqi war. I sure hope all these things backfired. This election will be decided in the tiny portion of the swing voters in the middle (the R base will cancel the D base). I bet the swing voters should get campaign fatique real soon, they will tune all these things off till end of summer. that's my bet. So the window of opportunity for the Bush team to drive the negatives for Kerry way high is NOW. Saturated the airwaves, get the swing voters really sicking tired of the whole darn thing. Seriously, if these middle voters chose to sit home, and if the Rs are working hard on the ground game, the reelection prospects sure don't look as bleak as the media hypsters are yakking.
The game plan now is to suck all the media oxygen away from Kerry, drive up his negatives, carpet bombing the middle voters, drive them into "not listening to either camp, sicking tired of this election" mode, meanwhile improves the ground game in all states, get the grassroots out, sign up people, drag and haul these new voters to the polls in Nov. We still have seven months to go, and we need to destroy the libs once it for all in the polls this fall. I want to able to say to the libs on Nov 3rd - "Who's your daddy now!"
jmho.

[Hildebeast is predicting some unknown event is going to determine the election at the last minute - this was on some other thread here today.]
IS SHE PLANNING AN ATTACK ON THE SEARS TOWER?
She realizes that "Old Crusty" could soon detonate at any time, with a 5-10 kiloton magnitude force, destroying all life within a 3-4 mile radius of the blast zone. It all depends on where she is at the fateful moment.

I don't post much, but I've been a world-class lurker since early '98. Pukin, you are indeed an officer and a gentleman, and your insights are appreciated more than you'll ever know.

Good morning, CedarDave. Just saw your question about Bill Press in your post #286 on this thread. No, I'm not kidding. Bill Press was the chairman of the California Democrat Party from 1993 to 1996. He was also director of the California Office of Planning and Research under Gov. Jerry Brown. Here's
a biography in case you want to know more about him.

Another reenforcement of the liberal Democrat media bias. Not subtle at all -- out in the open. Thanks.

(Kerry loves daylight savings time: He can set his clock forward, then change it back in 7 months)
Dr. Rice's testimony is scheduled for April 8. This is about a week before the previously scheduled public tesimony of the 9/11 Commission, and I assume is in addition to the previously scheduled sessions.
I don't have time, but the location is Senate Hart Office Building.

Sorry I took so long to respond. GWB was confident and solid. Said what he wanted to say and now the Dems will get what they wished for: Condi eating Dick Clarke's lunch for him.
Look for her to make short work of Kerrey, Ben Veniste and Gore-lick.
