In 7:25 break, anchor reported "Terri Schiavo was rushed to a Pinellas County emergency room last night after nursing home staff noticed puncture wounds on her arm. The wounds appeared to be caused by a hypodermic needle! Toxicology tests were conducted but the results are not available yet!"

This could open a huge new round in this case. What did tests reveal? Who was last person in room? When was husband there? Was staffer trying the Angle of Death routine?

This will be developing hard all day!

Poor, poor Terri. She so very much deserves a peaceful, long, happy, contented life. I simply can't understand why Michael loathes her, and because he does, doesn't just cut his losses and move on with his own life (with Jodi and children).

I pray God has angels watching over Terri every second and that He protects this innocent one from the evil that seeks at every turn to destroy her. God bless her heart.

What I've heard already is: that her husband may have assaulted her years ago, leading to her current condition, that her husband probably wants her dead so that he can continue on with his current honey, and that her husband probably squandered the money that was intended for Terri.

I mean, it seems the only thing worse we could hear would be that he'd tried to inject her with poison or something!

Copy as aired said "puncture wounds" but reality seems to be hypodermic needle marks. Wouldn't hypodermic needle marks be inclusive in category of "puncture wounds?"

You're exactly right, Esther. With Terri's situation so fraught with possibilities of stealth peril to her physical safety, I cannot understand the lack of some extraordinary security and monitoring around her.

I, too, wonder about the fact that the HINO was the one to report this frightening puncture incident. We must also take into consideration a twisted hospital worker or even a nut walking into the hospital disguised as a health provider......or any number of scenarios which could bring harm to Terri.

Weirder things have happened in cases where emotions are deep, motives are dark, or where twisted strangers insinuate themselves into situations where they have no connection at all.

So because you think her husband should be allowed to kill her, these wounds shouldn't be investigated? This woman hasn't died of starvation or neglect nearly as fast as he wanted her to die. Obviously it was a lie by the husband that she was close to death's edge months ago --- she keeps on living and that angers him.

Knew a steam bath girl in Tay Ninh. Her's was angled about 45 degrees. Didn't cause death.... but I did think I had died and gone to heaven.....
