Today's update -

Biliruben level down to 6.4 and falling rapidly (good news), Down to 1/2 liter on the air -should be weaned by the morning, she has gained 1 oz in the last 24 hours, and should be on breast milk (via tube) tomorrow.

I got to hold her for 30 minutes today. What a glorious and SHORT 30 minutes!

Any Freeper moms here have experience with electric breast pumps? We are currently renting one from the office at the hospital (Very $$$$) and are looking for a good machine. We are hoping to find one that's not going to cost us an arm-and-a-leg. Mommy needs a machine that can "double-pump" and will withstand pretty heavy use for the next several months - particularly when she heads back to work. We have been cautioned that most consumer pumps are not meant for multiple users (thus don't buy used). Words of wisdom are greatly appreciated.

Try the La Leche website Battman, they have "double pumpers" and a "working mom" kit available at reasonable prices. Also lots of good info and advise for new mom and dad. Medela breast pumps are about the best out there.
