The newspaper Maariv reported that Yasser Arafat had asked for U.S. guarantees that he would not be the next target. The word from Washington came back: No.

Looks like the U.S has released Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon from his promise not to harm Arafart. The question now isn't whether the PLO Terror Boss will be taken out but when. The Israelis want him to get very comfortable before they flatten what's left of the Muqata with His Ugliness inside it. What's clear is the Americans believe as long Arafart remains alive, progress towards real peace will impossible and if it were conducive towards advancing it, the Israelis can go ahead and get it over with. It isn't the happiest of times for the surviving terrorist leasders on Israel's hit list. For them, time is running out.

It astonishing how quickly the Israelis seized that 25 second window. The timing is simply miraculous. Any one who thinks it was chance or fortuituous coincidence has got to be kidding.

What a waste of a perfectly good wheelchair! But considering the new policy implications, it was worth it-- terrorize the terrorists!

Earlier in the week someone posted a link to a middle eastern newspaper. The pictures taken of the aftermath of the attack were very graphic ... this guy is definitely a dead hombre.

Yep, I've seen the most gruesome photos of this gruesome Sheik.

Live by the sword, die by the hellfire missile. He'll meet many old Hamas buddies in hell.

Even his wheels were left behind. He had to slither on his belly.

I find it rather interesting that the Palestinians who glorify this murderer and who claim the Israelis have engaged in murder and terrorism routinely use children and women as suicide bombers killing women and children indiscriminantly. Yet the Israeli rules of engagement forbade killing a single innocent bystander. Perhaps we should examine that for a second. Then we might see who the real murderers and terrorists are. It's certainly not the Israelis who went to great lengths to avoid killing any women or children -- including women who may be card-carrying terrorist -- while ridding the world of the piece of fecal matter knows as Sheik Yassim.

Is it just me, or is there a pattern here with people bearing the appellation Sheik? Are they all pieces of human excrement? Or does it just seem that way?

Within seconds, an Apache helicopter of the Israeli Air Force was overhead, firing the missiles that killed Yassin.

And yet another oxygen thief is dispatched to his mosque in hell. Now Yassin knows who his moon god really is.

This article, and an earlier one regarding a past US decision to not take out Bin Laden because he was in the company of women and children, give the terrorists important information about how to hide behind innocents to protect their own lives. Of course, they had probably already figured that out, but these news articles strongly imply that it is (was?) apparently the official policy of the US and Israeli governments to avoid the loss of innocent lives when exterminating these vermin. Sadly, that gives an advantage to the bad guys - for all practical purposes, they have a "stay out of hell free for a little longer" card that they will gladly play.
