Right, and if people depended on the evening news for their fix of the committee hearings, they'd get the impression this isn't a wash for the Bush administration. Judging from the headlines in huge font type on various news sites, it would seem Bush is toast.

Let me expand a bit. The last administration did nothing. The Bush administration has thousands of Taliban and Al Qaeda bodies to it's credit.

I don't think it matters what happens in this hearing. The voters are not looking for a talker (Kerry) to take the office, they are looking for a shootist and W is all of that and more. W's numbers will take a dip for two weeks and then begin an ascent into landslide territory.

The Demos are still working on the old paradigm, a policy wonk, detail seeking beaurocrat rather than the man of action paradigm.

Clinton knew about Al Qaeda and did nothing, Bush is killing them. With whom do you trust your family's safety?
