I am cleaning out the linen closet because it is right by my computer/tv room.

This couldn't be just another version of Clarke's resignation letter, could it? That didn't effectively slap him down, IMO.

Most of the victims' families are thankful, respectful and not greedy. You need to stop lumping the majority in with the loud minority. The 9/11 families I know are nothing like these embarrassments, do not share any agenda with them and shouldn't be thrown in with them -- it's an insult to the overwhelming majority.

Oh, I agree. It wasn't my intent on lumping the silent majority in with the vocal minority.

I also heard that Clarke's book is in direct conflict with what he told Congress about the Clinton's war on terror.
To: Howlin
IMO, Clarke just may implode on his own; he's VERY intense and VERY angry because his word is being questioned; with a little luck, we'll get to see some of that this very day.Fire up the VCRs, because you know that anything which puts Clarke (and Clinturd) in a bad light will *never* make it to the network news broadcasts!

Any chance that HGTV designers can get out a discreet, but tastefully designed, porto-potty "furniture" that can be installed near computers?
To: Howlin
CNN hated like hell to put that up, I'll bet...

I'm not going to get anything done of a body can't leave the room for a minute lest missing some excitement.Actually, all you missed was some excrement in this case...a little bloviating by Kerrey about Condi Rice not appearing before the television cameras for her testimony and a rant that had no questions at all.
