Somebody needs to tell Clarke.

Wow! This just gets better and better.

I remember reading that the CIA guy before Tenet, Wolsey, didn't have a face to face with Clinton for two years. Clinton hated the guy and refused to be in the same room.

Clinton saw Arafat more often than he did his Cabinet or his CIA chief. Even Monica had more access. Tells ya, doesn't it, where clinton's priorities were?

Clarke reminds me of the K-Mart Magician as well.

Well, your thoughts deserve more than that; and when you put it that way, it makes a LOT of sense.
Doesn't it seem to you that they are scared to death of Rice? And if your guess is right, this is one way to make SHE look a lot better, isn't it?

You have possibly hit the reason that Rice changed his reporting proceedure -- she couldn't stand talking to the POS.

Exactly. When you go ON BACKGROUND with the press corps, you put your life in their hands.

My problem with Sen. Kerry's statement is that Clarke is leveling some serious charges toward the Bush admin and revealing he make the exact opposite statements is fair game - at least as far as I'm concerned.
The low lifes define fair game as giving them a head start on unlimited voter fraud.

Heard Rush for a time this afternoon. He had a letter from a congressman (Shays),heading up an intell. committee when Clinton was pres., demanding more information from Clarke, who'd appeared before that committee and had treated the whole thing as either a joke or beneath him. He was told to write a letter with specific answers to specific questions and the committee never heard from him again! So Shays wrote a letter to this senate committee detailing Clarke's lies and failings. Don't know if the committee read it into the record. Clarke's book also lied about Condi's knowledge and attitude about bin Laden and Al Quaeda as well as Wolfowitz. Clarke claimed the Clinton admin. had a plan to deal with terrorism which he tried to give to the Bush admin. during the transition period, and he, Clarke, says he was ignored. No such plan existed because Clarke admitted as much to the house intell committee headed up by Shays. This whole thing is a Clinton stunt to cover his butt about 9/11.

Fox broke journalistic ethics? What a joke! Fox advanced the TRUTH today. What about the other journalists that were at this background interview with Clarke but ran ahead and put his story out anyway without any challenging questions? I suppose you think 60 minutes was a beacon of journalistic ethics on Sunday. Give me a break. Fox did the public a service today.

I won't offer any more description about Richard Ben-Veniste 'presenting' like a ring-tailed lemur in heat....
