Kean, a RINO, should tell the audience that such outbursts will not be tolerated and anyone doing it will be expelled from the room. The is obviously a partisan show trial, which the GOP is represented by a bunch of namby pambys. The Dems are playing hard ball. The whole thing is being orchestrated for the media. I can understand why GWB was initially against it. The composition of the Commission was a politically brokered deal and it should never have been set up that way.

Kerrey - Clarke was always welcome to teach a class at his university
Discussing potential employment with a witness should not be tolerated. Ethical violation. Kerrey should be called out on it.
To: CyberAnt
No, Clarke has been a mole for the democrats.

This has got to be the most sickening man I have ever seen...think he even beats Clinton. Can you imagine working with this guy??????? Day in and day out being around him?????

Some of us just know how to say things without any ambiguity!

If Clarke didn't want his credibility damaged, he shouldn't have done a damned flip-flop by publishing this book of freakin lies!!

Is there a list of who is attending this (9-11) people somewhere that we can compare to Kerry's group?

How many Dems are complaining about the "cost" of this investigation?
To: cyncooper
Audience claps when Clarke says he doesn't think it's a matter of morality at all.Just politics, Cluck says. People like him are the reason we're in such a fix today.
To: arasina
Clarke: "Clinton authorized military force to kill Bin Laden." Oh REALLYSure, lying doesn't matter, this hack has PROVED you can LIE and become a HERO for doing so, just paint the lie as though it was an embelishment and in addition YOU WERE TOLD TO EMBELISH and being a GOOD soldier you do as you are told.

No, the original executive order was signed by Ford and then the same wording was used in another executive order in 1981. Clinton refused to rescind it, Bush removed it.
If you scroll back to probably the first or second page of this thread, I posted links to both executive orders.
Hope this helps.

Those people are clapping because they were the ones who turned down the settlement money and are hoping for a big lawsuit. If they can't pin the blame on anybody, they get nothing. So there are BIG bucks involved for them.

I can't help but have the vision in my mind of a few days after 9/11 - does anyone remember how both the Dems and Republicans went out on the Capitol Bldg. step - in unity to sing "God Bless America" - together?
Wow - we've come a long way ....

Someone needs to check out whether Clarke's standard of living has improved significantly - just how much did he get in this book deal? Maybe in addition to the cash, he has a jaguar in his driveway like the former Ambassador to Gabon, Joe Wilson...
Now I wonder- was Wilson really the mysterious T J Wilkinson or is Clarke T J Wilkinson?

The answer to this is so very simple. Many uninformed Americans (including the 'victims families') want to blame someone for 9/11. We know who the Dems and their press prostitues want to blame--Clarke is selling his book to those people.
To: GOPrincess
It's become obvious to me today that this commission is just the usual partisan battling...not a real quest for the "truth."I think the TV cameras bring out the worst in these "hearings". They turn an investigation into a show and always have.

typical Dem M.O. though. Damaging information comes out and blame the source (leak, journalistic ethics, etc) just like "memogate". Its pathetic, speaking of journalistic ethics, shouldn't Kerry then ding CBS/Viacom for their 60 minutes infomercial?
To: freeperfromnj
One could only wish that would happen. Clarke is unbelievably arrogant.
