Virginia doesn't have party registration, and I'm pretty sure we don't party ballots either - so what the heck is Clarke talking about when he says that he asked for a Republican ballot in the 2000 election?

This guy sounds like Kerry. In the four months Kerry was in Viet Nam, he did everything! Now, in the couple months clarke was in the Bush Admin, he's personally responsible for all of it. Maybe he should be held personally responsibile for 9-11.

I hope the WH comes out with proof this guy was so low on the totem pole that most people didn't even know who he was. According to him he was calling all the shots, even telling Bush not to come back to the WH. I wonder why the SS didn't have anything to say about that. I have a feeling there is a "shrink" out there somewhere who tell us volumes about this guy.

Hey, after the latest in the news about his prior visit to KC one does have to wonder why he would come here of all times.
To: Howlin
This is tough to watch.

If we kept those Saudis here, it would have tied up the resources of several hundred law enforcement officers nationwide to do protection details when they were needed elsewhere. The Saudis only left when flights were restored.

Who is applauding? One guess and they're not fans of Bush. While the panel tries to convince us how serious they are about getting to the truth, the fact that applause is permitted tells me otherwise.

HE "was coordinating all these...."

I want to know that, too.

they are asking Clarke what he would do about every single problem in the world. If ONLY he ruled the world! Then why did the rats pick Kerry up out of the gutter to be their candidate when they could have had...Clarke. (And they could've had him a lot more cheaply...

He was well aware of the OBL family in the US and what they were doing in the US. SO was the FBI aware of them and what they were doing. They weren't doing anything illegal or suspicious and he believes the FBI had good information on their activities.
That should lay to rest some of the urban legend that Bush let the families go.
After the FBI said it was alright with them for the family of OBL to leave the country and the crisis group okayed it through a conference call.
Either the White House Chief of Staff's office approved it or the State department.
Someone on the Commission needs to remind Clarke that America does not hold hostages.
OBL's family asked to go and we let them.

Wouldn't it just be easier for him to tell us what he DIDN'T do? He claims HE told the president not to come back to the White House; he claims that he is the one that ordered the shoot downs; now he ordered this? I just had a flashback to Katharine Hepburn in "Bringing Up Baby" when she says to Cary Grant: "Your golf ball, your car. Is there anything in the world you don't own?"
To: LisaFab
Because he's a democratic troll, who wrote a book, to try to get President Bush out of office. This is the only reason he's here.
To: LisaFab
Lisa, I do not know; I just do not know.
