Thank you so much. You have made it impossible for the media NOT to report Clarke's 2002 statements. They may twist it as they see fit but hopefully many will see through the charade.

I agree. Maybe that is who has coached him.
To: BurbankKarl
"ha....Clinton only lost 35 people to terrorism......I guess if you exclude the African Bombings"
Is he including the Somali killings in that list and the Khobar Towers?
To: Bush_Democrat
Good God.....Lehman just called Clarke "the Rosetta Stone."
We really all are doomed.

OMG
I think the "Paul Revere" reference is so apt. He just described himself as the lone voice warning warning! But nobody would listen and that dunce Gorelick ends practically shedding a tear over how nobody else really had it in them as he did.
Oh oh...Lehman up and saying how he's admired Clarke. I sense a big "BUT" coming up here...

The Democrats are now successfully working on the poll numbers for Bush regarding the public's confidence in his ability to handle terrorism.

"You mean there is at least one tough Republican on that pathetic excuse for a committee?" I wondered what the makeup of this committee is. I haven't been able to watch all of it, but everytime I do Kerry or Beniste (sp) are on. Here's Lehman (R), let's see what he can do. He says he was a fan of Clarke.

Someone tell Kristinn to go back and engage in more Freeping-- he needs to go bring the Books Losing Bin Laden and Dereliction of Duty and hand them to the RINO jerks on the Commission.
Mansoor Ijaz needs to go and blow the door off of this hearing.
To: Miss Marple
Borelick ended up voicing a big concern that if somebody as strong and aggressive as Clarke can't effect change, then she certainly sees how difficult others will perceive that to be...(paraphrase)
Yuck

"He quoted Isikoff -- Statements made in 2002 were to praise his boss"When you made your post much earlier, I thought you were crazy. Guess what, you nailed it. Congratulations.
However, now we have contradicting statements under oath. I now see purgery.

No, the good guys are not winning. Clarke is portraying himself as a modern day Paul Revere and the commission is lapping it up like kittens at a saucer of milk.
To: Bush_Democrat
He just Irked her, by blaming the Bureacracy she devotes herself too...lol
Her tone at the end was not very nice...lol.

Are the good guys winning or not? Yes. Clarke has been discredited, and we're the only ones paying attention to this dog and pony show, anyway.

Are the good guys winning or not? Obviously, there is a difference of opinion on that! You'll have to read the news and form your own opinion.
