Zell Miller to endorse President Bush March 24 in DC.
Note from Bob McDonnell

Dear Friend,
I want you to know about an historic event that is happening tomorrow, March 24, 2004. Senator Zell Miller, a Democrat from Georgia, will endorse President George W. Bush for re-election. As many of you know, Senator Miller has never endorsed a Republican for President. He is taking this drastic measure because he believes that George W. Bush has shown leadership in defending our national security, courage in lowering the tax burder for Americans, and integrity in his service to our nation. This event will take place at the Park Hyatt, 1201 24th Street, NW in Washington D.C. at 11:00 a.m.

Thanks for the ping, but I can't get out of work for this. If it were a few hours earlier or later I could do it.

A Republican will win Senator Miller's seat -- Rep. Mac Collins, Rep. Johnny Isaacson or Herman Cain (of Godfather's Pizza fame).
All three support H.R. 25, The FairTax, BTW, which would replace the income tax with a National Retail Sales Tax and abolish the IRS!
Senator Miller is the Senate cosponsor of S. 1493, H.R. 25 Senate companion legislation, with his fellow Georgian, Senator Saxby Chambliss.

We'll miss you, but you can do more to re-elect Dubya down there than in fairly safe VA. Best wishes, and have a beer at Hooters for me! :-)

Thanks, Coop.
I moved to Florida to care for my 88 year old mother. She is in good health, but is no longer capable of living by herself all the time. It is payback time!
Will travel to WDC monthly to lobby the US Senate for the National Retail Sales Tax. I'll schedule my trips, as best I can, to attend the events my DC Chapter FReeper FRiends schedule.
Gotta stay in both games, dontchaknow? Can't see myself not lobbying for the NRST or FReeping! LOL!

As I recall, there are three different Hooters restaurants in the J-ville area. :-)

I've lived in Georgia 15 years. I have never given my vote to Zell. Today's Zell is very different from Zig Zag Zell.
I think if he were running for re-election I might actually have voted for him this time.

I think that due to Zell's strong support of the Fair Tax, he may eventually endorse the candidate with the strongest support of it. Cain.
He may not support the Dem candidate (who is it anyway???).
To: Coop
Well, then I'll have to check the other two out! LOL!

I have no idea, and it probably doesn't matter.
Be neat if Zell threw his support to Herman wouldn't it? Might boost a Real American to the top of the Senate heap there.
