After Kerry volunteered to go to France instead of VN he also went on a grand total 18 missions in the 4 months total he was actually in VN.
That is not counting his pleasant quiet picnic cruises well into Laos for humanitarian purposes that were fully consistent with his antiwar views and writings from his earlier Harvard days and those of his daddy.
As the 10th swiftboat crewman who is strangely missing from Douglas Brinkley's book about John Kerry in Vietnam said, (paraphrased) "mostly trying to stay out of any dangerous action."
.....not that there is anything wrong with that.

So you're a Cowboy! I'm a Sooner, and since we aren't there this year, I'll be pulling for you. You certainly have good taste in Presidents and First Ladies. Let's hope we can get them another four years (for us)! I will love to see W and Laura go to pasture in Texas after serving their country so well (in 2009).
