From nonpoliticallycorewrecked:
"I just recieved an email. One of the eagle scouts in my BSA troop CD has been injured as a Marine in Iraq. He was shot. He is currently in Germany being operated on. PLEASE, PLEASE Pray for him! I will be calling his Mom and will give you any updates as I recieve them "
Thank you for the notification, NPCW. We do join you in your prayers for this young man. Do please keep us informed of his progress.
Beloved Heavenly Father,
We place before you this fine young man known to NPCW as an Eagle Scout. We know because of his achievments in scouting that he is one of our best. It is reported to us that he has been shot while in service to the Marines and is now in Germany being treated.
Father, let your healing light enter into the body of this young hero. Mend those cells, tissues, and organs which have been affected by the damage done to them. Mobilize the mechanisms of the body which cause repairs to take place. Guide and inspire the medical, nursing and professional personnel who are caring for him. Enfold this young man with angels of healing and comfort. We call forth miracles in his behalf.
Reach into the heart, mind, and soul of this young man and heal any and all trauma done at those levels. Grant him peace of mind, joy, strength, and the courage to fight for himself as hard as he fought for his nation. Heal this man at all levels according to your blessed Will.
Surround his family and loved ones. Grant them insight, wisdom, love, and patience to know the things they need to do to support him. Help them all in meeting the challenges which face them at this time as they seek to hold vigil for their young warrior. Above all, grant them abundant Faith and Hope and the knowledge that all will be well, for you are our own Father and have all things in your hands. SHATTER all which is opposed to his life and your divine Plan and Will for his life.
We ask that all who are faced with the challenges of dealing with wounds inflicted during military service or during service in support of the military are granted the grace of perfect healing according to your Will. Let all who have been wounded or injured be granted your special guidance and an extraordinary sense of their closeness to your divine Heart forever.
Thank you, Father, for sending to us these precious young people who have placed themselves "between their loved homes and the war's desolation."* They are our greatest treasure, and we commend them all into your keeping. We invoke miracles of protection, healing, and mercy for all who Serve. Somehow convey to each of them that we are aware of the debt we owe, but which we can never truly pay. Please let them know despite that that we do not take them for granted and that we send to them the gratitude which they deserve.
Amen

Prayers are coming for this young man and his family
To: TEXOKIE; All
Thank you for the prayers for Cesear.
His mother just called me, she was able to call Germany and talk to his nurse. He is just coming out of the anesthesia from his surgery. The surse told her to call back in a few hours after the anesthesia wears off and she will let her talk to him.
One very happy Mom will be calling Germany shortly!
He will be transported to the Naval Hospital here in the US but does not know which one. After he is in the US Mom will be flying to be with him.
Again thank you all for the prayers.
