I don't believe the President would pre-empt regular programming for just a pep talk. There has to be something newsworthy in this. Or he'll pay dearly with the networks down the road.

I expect it will be an honoring of the troops of the Iraq War and a recounting of the successes there. It presents a good time to rebutt some of the propaganda that has been spewed during the dems primaries. I think it will be a combination state of the war (terrorist and Iraq) and stump speech. We'll see.
