What are we chasing these guys with? Butterfly nets?

I'm sure we would be tracking it.

Surely they had air assets that wouldn't lose track of the vehicle.

Perhaps Rodney has been consuming too much Foster's.

ALERT: This story is about the escape last TUESDAY....AZ is still under fire and possible dead.
To: treeclimber
This is such BS. I think these guys sit around making stuff like this up.
To think we can see a LandCruiser leaving (no, a BULLETPROOF LandCruiser) and can't track it. Do they think this is "Charge of the Light Brigade"?

Other news agencies are reporting that it crashed in that same small town and the survivors are holed up in that town. They found some blood, so that's why they think he's wounded.

Bulletproof, maybe - but I'll bet that puppy isn't Hellfire - proof. Seems someone has been watching too many Arnold movies.

was just the latest infuriating setback in the US's quest to bring down the top of the al-Qa'ida tree. Funny how that works. The first 10 posts on the subject yesterday said a high ranking person had been *captured*.
Then later it said *surrounded*. You could pretty much see this coming, IMO.

This is a weird story. As others have pointed out, both us and the Pakis have air assets in the area that could turn a "bulletproof" LandCruiser into scrap metal.

A BULLETPROOF LandCruiser at high speed bursting out of a tribal compound Don't the Paki's have bazookas? Sheesh. How about helicopters? We should send a few California news-copters over so they can get these thugs.

Send the Los Angeles TV helicopter news corp over there. They are experts at tracking cars trying to evade capture.

According to our friend

last night
on WABC radio New York
the whole operation was a hoax
mounted by Pakistan
to impress Coling Powell
who had just visited Pakistan
with a big offer of aid

I cannot see how anything could run at high speed in that country unless it is off a cliff.
