"I'm hoping they're introduced to Mr MOAB."

And after Mr. MOAB is thoroughly done, they'll all be introduced to Mr. MOP and Mr. PAIL.

Aim small, miss small.

I've never understood what that means.

(Hand waving in the air) I know, I know (because I asked the very same question!)!!

Aim for a large target like a man's body, and if you miss, you miss the entire man. Aim for a button on his coat and if you miss, you still hit your target in the chest!

Charlie Rose had Ajami on...John Hopkins. Said the program was taped at 5:45 NY time. Ajami said that Zwahari is a much more valuable capture...that Usama has the charisma but Zwahari has this huge following that goes back to his Egptian roots.

Ajami gave a nice summary of Zwahari's rise to fame...as a terrorist...rather than a doctor. This was a spoiled little rich kid that went bad...same basic profile as Usama.

Ajami made you listen to every word.

Maybe that explains the jock strap...Cheney got Kerry where it hurts. Kerry needed a band-aid but decided on a jock strap. Just another cover-up out of the Kerry camp.

Boy, am I tired!!

"No embedded reporters. No civilians sending reports by email or the internet. Nobody who feels that it's important to provide reports to anyone except the military."

This almost in tandem with "where's Geraldo?" etc.....I wonder where the un-announced reporters might be, why they are un-announced and not announcing.

So, what if they are sitting back with detachment 121 et al, in Afganistan, counting up the take as the bad guys run from the beaters (and their press coverage) across the border?

What if there is a story here that is being witheld - for obvious reasons - until it is over?

Truth. If al-Zawahri isn't there, or it's too risky to try to confirm or take him alive, I hope the Paks leave not one stick standing in the whole 68 sq mile region.

My daughter was talking about deep-fried pickles that her friend likes to eat at Dave & Busters. How gross does that sound???

It was pretty cool to be riding with Greg Kelley on the Thunder Run drive-by shooting in Baghdad, but we shouldn't expect that to be the norm, especially when it's not our troops.

You're right, of course, although I'm sure feeling hungry for news about this (no pickle recipes please!). What's most frustrating is the totally contradictory reports coming from seeminly well-placed sources. Pakistan officials have variously said that they can't confirm who the HVT is, that the HVT is al-Zawahri and he's surrounded, then that al-Zawahri is wounded. US sources (Gen. Hunt) is claiming that al-Zawahri is dead pending DNA results. Since only one of these things can be true, if any of them are, there's a lot of misinformation being generated.

The news I'm listening to is echoing reports that there's currently only limited small arms fire in the area.

Actually a 68 sq mile area is quite small. Approx 8 miles by 8 miles. This is very encouraging. I hope the nuce is drawing tighter and tighter.
