PRISTINA -- Wednesday – UN administrators have abandoned offices in the Kosovo towns of Gnjilane, Prizren and Pec, fleeing what one UNMIK official described to B92 as “Kristallnacht”.

“Kristallnacht is under way in Kosovo,” the official told B92 on condition of anonymity.

“What is happening in Kosovo must unfortunately be described as a pogrom against Serbs: churches are on fire and people are being attacked for no other reason than their ethnic background,” he added.

Serbs and UN officers have been the target of attacks by Kosovo Albanians during most of the day and night. The most dramatic withdrawal was from Belo Polje on the outskirts of Pec, where UNMIK officials, retreating with Serb residents, where forced to shoot Albanian assailants in self-defence.

The Serbian Orthodox seminary in Pec has been razed, and Albanians celebrated its destruction by setting fire to the local church., said the UN official.

Nearly all of the hundreds of thousands of "ethnic Albanians" reported killed in ethnic cleansing before we bombed Serbia are alive today. The stats were LIES. One hundred per cent of the Serbs killed by American bombs and Albanian Muslims remain dead.

Actually I have read reports that they are. If you read my post #58, they were forced to convert by the Turks and adopted a synthesized religion -- the Bektashi dervishes. It's not that hard for them to step back. but they must NOT be made to think that the Christiann west is anti-Albanian.

Nope, not pro-Serbian, but many posters here seem inclined that way because they've been made to think that it's a Muslim-Christian war. If it WAS as clear as that I would have supported the christian side, but here BOTH sides are Chrsitian (to some degree), but neither seem to be acting Chrsitian.

The toughest guys (the Serbs) would win. however, I believe that if The serbs NOW were to win, the Albanians may be allowed to live, albeit as second class citizens. If Slobo had been allowed to carry on as he liked we would have had another holocaust or at the very least Exodus.

Any prrof that the number of people that died actually died? Back in '99, the U.N. went in and had to keep revising the number downwards, from over 100,000 to under 10,000, then down. Eventually they just dropped the subject.

In Bosnia The serbian Orthodox Christian Serbians burnt the churchs of Catholic Croats and the Mosques of Muslim Bosnians, while the Catholic Croats burnt the Or Serb Churchs and the Mosques and the Muslims burned the RC and SO churchs.

Slobo DID ruin the Albanian-Serb peace in Kosovo. He DID try to run them out of the land and kill some to get rid of the others. Most of the Kosovar Albanians WERE kicked out of their homes. That is a fact.
