Thanks a million for this photo. Plan to copy and send out to insane relatives (journalists, editors, academics) as Christmas '04 card. The message in olde english lettering:

EAT IT!

Has Robbins been coaching Kerry? Two drama queens.

Cheney could belch more eloquently than Robbins' finest performance. You sporting asbestos undies today?

First radio report I've heard (CBS Radio news) played a complete clip of Kerry's speech (yes, Kerry, not Cheny), then went on to say that Cheny went on the attack. They played this clip from Cheney's speech, one sentence .. "And the Senator from Massachusetts has given us ample doubts about his judgment and the attitude he brings to bear on vital issues of national security."

The Kerry stuff they played included mention of Bush landing on a carrier (Kerry talking), and that the effort in Iraq is not yet wound-down, etc. That is, the clips selected for Kerry included SPECIFIC comments, the clip of Cheney did not.

You're right, I just looked, also, it isn't up yet. Maybe they'll post it later. :) I did find wonderful photo while I was there, I hadn't seen this one before.

Framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Grand Teton Mountain Range, Vice President Cheney tours the countryside on horseback with his family, who are not pictured.

"McGovern rode it down to flames."

Afew days before the election, McGovern called Nixon "A monster and a barbarian"

In 1972, only six students at my high school in a graduating class of 799 admitted that they voted for Nixon.

I didn't vote for Nixon. He's just not my kind of guy. Among other things he instigated wage and price controls. He also embarrassed the Republican party for decades. There are still people who are ashamed to call themselves Republicans because of Nixon.

That said, he was more honest than clinton, better at managing the economy than carter, and just plain more fun than gore.

Thanks for posting the link. I just finished reading the whole speech very carefully. Cheney is truly a remarkable man and intellect. I like his careful use of words that is unlike most political speak. The meaning of his words is clear and concise. There is no room for dual meanings or obfuscation.

Thanks again for posting the link.
