Hey, sweetie.

I'm a Rummy chick too and he's way older than me. LOL

But the older they get, the better. Seasoned.

Love 'em both. Enjoy the replay.

I thought the VP debate of 2000 was the best of all the debates.

Rush is saying France is recieving terrorist threats from an Islamist group because they can't wear their head scarves. "So-apparently you do not have to be part of the coalition of the willing in order to be threatened by the terrorists."

Yes, he is. FOFLOL. Oh, Gawd, I love Dick Cheney. Ya know, Kerry may have a hard time finding a running mate cause who in his right mind would want to face Cheney in a debate.

Cheney is THE MAN. I have no problem with the Democrats bringing up the idea that Cheney actually has a ton of input in this Administration. I'm like, "and the downside is what?"

Remember during the debates, Cheney vs Lieberman, Cheney (and even Ole Joe) were very nice to each other, like a couple of grandpa's talkin things over. Anyways, there was one really great comeback by Cheney over something Joe had said, totally impromptu. I cant remember it exactly. Just found the transcript:

SEN. LIEBERMAN: Bernie, Dick Cheney must be one of the few
people in America who thinks that nothing has been accomplished in the
last eight years. I mean, the fact is that promises were made and
promises were kept. I mean, has Al Gore -- did Al Gore make promises
in 1992? Absolutely. Did he deliver? Big time; if I may put it that
way. And that's the record.

Look at the -- look at the 22 million new jobs. Look at the 4
million new businesses. Look at the lower interest rates, low rate of
inflation high rate of growth. I think if you asked most people in
America today that famous question that Ronald Reagan asked, "Are you
better off today than you were eight years ago?" most people would say
yes.

And I'm pleased to say -- see Dick, from the newspapers, that you're
better off than you were eight years ago, too. (Laughter.)

MR. CHENEY: And most of it --

     SEN. LIEBERMAN: (Chuckles.)

MR. CHENEY: And I -- I can tell you, Joe, that the government
had absolutely nothing to do with it.

     SEN. LIEBERMAN: (Laughing.) (Inaudible.)

     (Laughter, applause.)

MR. SHAW: This question is to you. But --

SEN. LIEBERMAN: I can see my wife, and I think she's thinking,
"Gee, I wish he would go out into the private sector." (Chuckles.)

MR. CHENEY: Well, I'm going to try to help you do that, Joe.
(Laughter, applause.)

Sweet.

Chenney summarized, like an astute observer positioned from the perfect lookout and observing the scenes unfolding below, the accounts past and present, and the venue of the war on terror fabulously. I was so proud to hear him so superbly elucidate on this subject, and the importance of it to the American people. He also outlined the differences between his Administration and John F’ing Kerry. Excellent. Thank you so much, Vice President Chenney. You words came at the right time, I hope America was listening. At this time, the night seems to have fallen deep, and so the gleam of the path may seem lost. But not for us. We know the path, we know it isn’t going to be easy. We know, thanks to leadership such as you Mr. Vice President, that we are going to do anything, whatever it takes, to win this war.

I've never seen a speech like this before whereby the sitting Vice-President absolutely bludgeoned the nemesis while looking like a dignitary. He shredded Kerry without getting blood on his shirt.

To make matters worse for the Dems, the audience assembled for Cheney was laughing at the mockery Cheney was putting forward on the Kerry campaign. If you are a conservative, it doesn't get any better than what I just witnessed.
