I am not able to access the chat forum. Whenever someone pings me from a chat forum, i can't respond. I have a different computer from when I started freeping, and have a new account, neither of which allowed me to access chat.

I can access chat from my computer at home, though, so i beleive it has something to do with the way our network is set up or something with how i can access FR. (like i said, i am no techie)

It's not such a big deal, except that i cannot access Mr Silverbacks caption-a-rama and sometimes the Nascar threads get dumped into chat.

One of the moderators spent a significant amount of time a while back helping me with no change.

Thanks.

It could be that the place you work for has some sort of net-nanny style software installed that does not allow you to access any URL that has "chat" in it.

Let me throw together a little experiment to see if this is the case.

I'll ping you when it is ready.

Click here from your non-home computer and tell me what you get. What you should get is a listing of threads (with this one on top) that have a keyword of "chat".

If you don't get anything, then the computer you are using is filtering out things with a URL that contains "chat".
