I can't realistically call all of Spain appeasers. The media chooses to quote the ones who are. There were many who did vote for the Popular Party. And another thing to consider is how close the Med coast of Spain is to north Africa. It is rather like our US/Mexican border. They come and go at ease in the port of Alicante.
I just note the difference in our two countries' response to major attack.
