I vowed to never again watch that POS show in the 70's, when they poked fun at Betty Ford's breast cancer. NEVER AGAIN.

I didn't see the SNL skit so I can't comment on that. I'm sure it was in very bad taste, as many SNL skits are. But I do remember the controversy back in 1979 caused by Monty Python's Life of Brian in which the crucifixion of Christ is made light of. Many Christians called it blasphemy at the time. Having seen the movie multiple times (and being a big Monty Python fan), I was never offended. I mean, the satire was so over-the-top, that I couldn't possibly take it seriously or be insulted by it. But that said, having seen the Passion just last week, I think it will be a long time before I can see Life of Brian again. That's how powerful the movie was for me. Had I been watching last night, I probably would have just turned the set off and gone to bed.

I haven't watch SNL for years. Can't believe it's still on.

Hollywood is on a mission to make money, and that means having an edge. SNL probably loves the controversy. I don't see any grand cultural conspiracy myself.

I didn't see it but from what I've read, it sounded a bit low. BTW, I haven't watched SNL since they took "The Coneheads" off, I'm still mad at that. B-)

Sounds like another Sinead O'Connor moment.

God didn't send his son to die???? Ah...

The 2000 election stuff on SNL was some of the best ever. Hammond doing Gore and Ferrell doing Bush was hysterical.

SNL has not been funny or even original since The Coneheads. The only reason it's on the air is because there's nothing else on.

I think this guy needs to stop buggering little boys and read his Bible once in a while.

SNL trashed Christianity, no biggie these days. I hope God takes notes in His little black book.

nah... that'd mean he'd have to work for a living, earn his bread by the sweat of his brow, etc... and you know that this is anathema to the Leftist Parasite.

Frankly I was more offended seeing Omarosa than seeing the Resurrection of the Egg. It just works against them anyway, because it will drive their audience to see The Passion, and that is not what they intended.

Will They Pull The PLUG on or even level a Fine on NBC and Saturday Night Live? God never said it would be easy for you. Your love and worship of the Christ should bring you through the hardships (which Chrstians have faced for over 2000 years).
In short, you don't need a gpovernment agency to make you feel "Comfortable" or to "get back at" your detractors. You have something much better.

If she thinks comparing Jesus to Humpty Dumpty is funny, have you considered a different girl friend?

I vowed to never again watch that POS show in the 70's, when they poked fun at Betty Ford's breast cancer. NEVER AGAIN. That was Betty Rollin. The sketch was "First, He Cries", a parody of "First, You Cry" and it was poking fun at male insensitivy about breast cancer... NOT the disease itself!
The author herself wrote in to PRAISE the sketch.
