Well, I still have hope there are some good Muslims somewhere. The whole people seem to have such awful hatred of us. Hard to decide who wants to banish the Christians from the earth first - the democrats or the muslims?

My references for that post came from a variety of articles found on a Google search of "navy jet crashes."
An even more interesting source that puts it all together can be found here:
http://www.dailypress.com/news/dp-85059sy0mar31,0,883685.story?coll=dp-headlines-topnews Contained in this article is the following quote:
Navy officials said Tuesday that although complete safety stand-downs - grounding of all the service's planes - had been done in the past after a flurry of mishaps, a stand-down wasn't an option this time. "The reason we are extremely hesitant to direct a complete stand-down is because we are a nation at war," said Mike Maus, spokesman for the Atlantic Fleet Naval Air Force in Norfolk. "If we did a stand-down that means nothing in the Navy flies, and we have units that are deployed in support of the global war on terrorism. We also have other units who are getting ready to go on deployments who need to fly."
Well, enough for tonight. G'night all.

China (human rights abuse capitol of the world) is part of the pointing finger on the 51 Mexicans they want to "protect." The problem they raise is that the Mexicans were not provided with counsel from their home country.... I wonder how many Americans have been refused counsel in so many foreign countries, and not protected like these murderers, thieves, rapists, etc. In Mexico they would skate, here they face death sentences. I suggest we stand firm and make them examples for others who think they can come to our country to do evil things.

It's possible the London terror group has a Canadian connection!!
Canadian police charge man under anti-terrorism act
Wednesday, March 31, 2004 Posted: 1:52 AM EST (0652 GMT)
(CNN) -- Launching raids on two sites in Ottawa, officers of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have arrested and charged a man with terrorism-related crimes spanning the Atlantic Ocean, according to a statement from the RCMP.
RELATED
Eight arrested in UK raids
Police allege Mohammad Momin Khawaja, 29, of Ottawa "did knowingly participate in or contribute to, directly or indirectly, an activity of a terrorist group, for the purpose of enhancing the ability of a terrorist group to facilitate or carry out a terrorist activity" and "did knowingly facilitate a terrorist activity."
The crimes are alleged to have taken place "on or between November 10, 2003, and March 29, 2004, at or near the City of Ottawa, in the Province of Ontario and at or near the City of London, England."
Scotland Yard offered no details on the case, saying it does not comment on arrests in other countries.
On Monday, British authorities arrested eight men as part of an anti-terrorism sweep in London and across south-central England. (Full story)
Khawaja, a Canadian-born citizen, appeared in court Tuesday after he was arrested at work a day earlier, where a search was conducted, the RCMP said. A search warrant was also issued for Khawaja's Ottawa-area home.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.

I can't find a map small enough, but Ottawa seems to be a hop, skip and a jump from upper New York state.

Excellent thoughts and questions JM.
IMO, China has been a up-and-coming threat to America for quite some time. I believe that China being able to "buy" our politicians in the Clinton years just quietly emboldened them. They thought we were "fat, dumb and happy" as a country and our powerful few were nothing buy whores with a price. Again, IMO, they are just waiting for the right opportunity, which could be the Taiwan situation. They have been the threat I have feared for some time. They have slowly taken over many a port and shipping line in our hemisphere and I believe they have too much control in South America. I fear China more than I fear Russia and I am not entirely comfortable with Russia.
I had a uncle who lived in Central America from the late 1940's till he died in the mid 90's. He did a variety of "U.S. gov. work" in Central and S. America (he worked for United Fruit in the 1950's if you are familiar with United Fruit's history). He spoke 5 language's fluently, etc. etc. We wrote to each other constantly mostly discussing politics and history. One of the last things he wrote to me was "watch China's interaction with South America. Watch for signs of increased communism and terrorism in S. America." He said to never trust China and they would gain far too much control in S. America. I'm afraid that what my uncle feared is coming to pass.
Just as an example, and you are probably aware of all this anyway, in the 1980's China was already selling to Argentina highly enriched uranium, heavy water, yellowcake, etc. All that wonderful stuff. If I remember correctly, China also (about the same time) sold enriched uranium to Brazil and Chile. All without (again IIRC) IAEA safeguards.
Enough of my rant about China & S.A. Sorry for going on so long.

It's also time for the Canadians to start extracting the terrorists in their midst before it backfires on them. Just because they aren't persecuted in Canada doesn't mean they accept Canadians and their way of life. I can assure you the one from Ontario can be multiplied by thousands in Vancouver BC. They have a VERY serious problem up there. Once again today, ignoring the problem won't make it go away.

Don't forget that there is a large Hezbollah cell in Charlotte, N.C. and a large Islamic Jihad cell in Raleigh, N.C. Both these cities are more central N.C. where as Kitty Hawk is on the coast, but...

The 4 killed folks wre there to protect a food convoy. I think the US should stop all supplies to Fallujah. Let the townspeople get hungry, tell them the food will resume when they have taken out these monstors who did this!!

I wonder if we are being so tolerant of Mexico and Canada because we get such a significant portion of our petroleum imports from them?

I am sure I won't be around tommorow when you post the new thread. It looks like you will be getting there very soon. Who ever decides to do it...Please keep the following in mind. Jim Robinson is now hosting the Threat Matrix graphic on FR.
http://www.freerepublic.com/images/threatmatrix.jpg
Please use that link for the graphic and not the one we have been using. This will take the load off "Thecabal"'s PC.
Also Jim related the following to me:
"By the way, the threads will load a lot faster if the poster includes width and height parameters for the image:
img src="http://www.freerepublic.com/images/threatmatrix.jpg" width=400 height=133>"
Jim Robinson
Please pass this on to whoever is the lucky poster.
Thanks and goodnight.
