crusade alliance....... Nothing like dredging up something that happened 800 years ago as a reason for their twisted retribution.

Indeed, did you read the letter from al-Masri yet?

From what I am reading from terrorism "experts", a suicide bomber means it's very unlikely to be ETA.

Please include original titles.

any details on the type of explosives, how big the bombs were, what the method of synchronization for the explosions were? this sounds like an extremely complex operation.

When counties let Muslims into it, what else is to be expected? The same will happen to the USA, for we have played the part of fools by allowing Islmaics into our country.

"Nothing like dredging up something that happened 800 years ago as a reason for their twisted retribution."
Considering they have nothing to show for their last 800 years its no mystery that Islamists have to go back that far to invoke hate.

Unconfirmed reports say a suicide bomber was on at least one of the four trains struck in the co-ordinated attacks. So far I have seen nothing about this in the Spanish press. Anybody have any ideas about the source of that report?
Because if it's true, this is definitely not ETA. Increasingly, I doubt that it was ETA, anyway, because the attack was far too complex and extensive for ETA.

I wonder if Kerry is going to keep with his assertion that the threat of terrorism is overblown.

On a BBC programme tonight a very well connected presenter said that Downing st had this pegged as al-Quiada by 9:00 am, but won't say it publicly.

It would be nice to have foreign leaders denouncing him as reckless for a change wouldn't it?

BBC is STILL reporting there is only a "possibility" it is Al Quaida and reporting ETA responsibity first, without such qualifying remarks. What complete scum!

I wonder if Kerry is going to keep with his assertion that the threat of terrorism is overblown.Kerry:
1) "Bush has been unable to capture bin Laden, thus laying the foundation for this attack."
2) "We must reach out to the 'Arab Street' by laying aside the divisive elements of Christianity and Judaism."
3) "The word 'Crusader' must be struck from the English language.

I would say it's out of the Australian government or intel services, because it's in every Australian paper and news organization's coverage at roughly the same publication times.

Al Qaida had promised that they will kill 2 million Americans plus 2 million American children. They never said they have to kill all of them in one day. If they have to spend 20 years to reach that kill number, they would spend the time to do it. This will happen if we continue to insist on policies of multiculturalism, tolerance and political correctness. We can not afford to have them swimming amongst us because we can not guard everything. Remember, the biggest concentration of children is in our public and private schools. We cannot guard every school from a suicidal assault team. Remember during the Afghan War we captured videos showing them training on how to attack and capture a school, and end the siege by throwing the kids off the roof to their deaths. The same was planned for hotels full of guests.
