What is suspending her from school for the rest of the year going to accomplish? If anything, she will probably find other non-productive things to do since she's going to have all the free time in the world now. In my opinion, schools know NOTHING about raising or disciplining kids. The school should leave the disciplining to the parents.

Boy, wouldn't that be nice. In 11 years of teaching I could count on one hand the number of times I have seen a parent discipline a child for misbehavior at school.

Judging from her plea's to the school board...I suspect she won't make the same mistake twice.

"In my opinion, schools know NOTHING about raising or disciplining kids. The school should leave the disciplining to the parents."

Tell that to the thousands of teacher's who have to deal with kids who's parents couldn't give a crap what they do. The "not my child" attitude is rampant.....I'm not a teacher but I am a parent and I have seen these types of parents far too often.
