I did a google search on both Marine Observation Squadron (VMO)6 and Vietnam and it turns up this squadron saw lots of combat action against the Communists in Vietnam (67-69) - and one of its pilots received the MOH- Stephen Pless so be very careful of your research for I hear this guy Bangert can make you eat your words and desk when one is confronted by him either in public or private.
Bangert is a communist-loving (and promoting) sack of feces, always has been.
Naturally, he's a close ally of Kerry.
He's been caught in so many lies they can't be counted, but he just bulls ahead with more lies on top of his old lies. He can't back up ANY of his atrocity stories, from his "first day in VN" fable to his "going with super secret CIA guys" atrocity tales.
I could just as plausibly create fantasies from my time in the military, if I don't have to name names or dates or places.
