I plan to keep this tagline until Kerry is defeated in November. I turn the channel when Kerry is on TV. I can't stand to see or hear the man, because when I do I see Billy's face in my mind.

Kerry has disrespected his memory, and is using Billy and other fallen soldiers for his own political gain. This man disgusts me on SO many levels, but this one is very personal to me.

I think it was Marmema who wrote to me and said the soviets killed over 60 million Orthodox Christians in their country alone, just because of their religion. About a million of them were clergy.

As a retired Coast Guard Senior Chief, I only wish this putz worked for me. I can assure you, he would rue the day his mother delivered him. If you do chose to contact his commanding officer, the Portsmouth, VA area is one of our larger concentration of personnel. I would suggest you contact Support Center Portsmouth and ask for personnel and they will tell you which unit this putz is assigned, then contact his C.O. I would suggest you keep your information handy, so you can document his feelings.

In all seriousness, most of them aren't enemies. They're just useful idiots, as I said on previous posts, and as I also said they have every right to say their piece. However, as Doug also said, people in the military DON'T have a right to say their piece. Jameel (spelling?) is in deep shit right now and he probably doesn't even know it yet. I hope he has the chance to enjoy a peaceful breakfast tomorrow, cause lunch probably won't be too enjoyable.

It all comes down to the fact that we ALL have a responsibility to be on the watch for threats domestic and abroad. If more people in this country had been as watchful as DFU prior to 911, 911 MIGHT NOT HAVE HAPPENED.

This is my memorial to Billy on the Wall website.

I knew him as Billy.

Billy Lunsford was one of my older brothers' best friends. He was a kind boy, soft spoken and polite. I actually had a crush on him, but I'm sure he looked upon me as the pesky little sister.

Billy came from humble beginnings, as most of us here in this small community did. His mother and father were good people, and suffered other tragedies over the years. They lost 2 other sons in a drowning accident, the one brother went in to save the other.

I've lost track of the family over the years, but I think he has 2 surviving sisters and one brother.

When I think of Billy, I think of a brave young man who had probably not even been out of the state of Ohio. Yet served his country because it was asked of him, and served it well.

I'm sure had he lived, he would have made an impact on everyone he came in contact with. I remember going to the funeral home and seeing him in his uniform, and at the age of 13 being both sad, confused, and afraid of what would become of my own brother who was serving in the Air Force.

But I also remember having a sense of pride for having known Billy. I just wanted to honor Billy in some small way for giving his short life for our country.

Billy, I will never forget you.
