You read my mind! What a disgrace to expoit the Alamo....

kerry can talk about a battle 168 years ago in Texas but President Bush can't mention a battle that started 3 1/2 years ago in New York. A battle that affects every man, woman and child today. Every person in this country and most around the world are still being affected by 9/11. Another example of kerry wanting it both ways. Thanks for the ping MOG.

Good. Keep on flying down here John, we'd like to hear more from you. In fact you really should spend a lot of money in Texas on TV commercials, to make sure that we understand your message...

Anti-Kerry signs reading "Red, White, and Bush," and "Kerry = Out of Touch Liberal" were also visible. On a more discordant note, three protesters were asked to leave the town hall meeting after unfurling a banner that read, "Vietnam Veterans Are Not Fonda Kerry," a reference to anti-Vietnam war activist Jane Fonda. Some veterans were angered when a picture of Mr. Kerry seated near Ms. Fonda at a rally surfaced on the Internet.
As the Kerry motorcade left the event site, a protester held up a sign that said "traitors."
Great Job! to whoever did this.

This is so damned hilarious. Lurch thinks by campaigning here he can force GW to waste time and money in Texas, thereby robbing resources from "real" battleground states.
What a jackass.
His panty-hose are giving him a wedgie because he knows California is in play this go-round and he's trying the same type of maneuver in Texas. Lurch isn't just a lying traitor . . . he's a lying traitor with the IQ of an iguana.

"I just want my vote registered against George Bush," she said. "At least we can show there are Democrats in Texas." May be, but their numbers will be cut approximately by half just as soon as John Boy takes his show out o' town. Delta is ready when you are.

Kerry better get the heck out of TEXAS, and he would stop in more heavy dim areas.... SAN ANTONIO, or Austin. But Bush will win in a landslide in both of those cities.
US TEXANS LOVE PRESIDENT BUSH! Sure there are libs but nothing like true blue Republicans who adore our 43 President! And unlike Dixie Chicks Natalie Maines, we are PROUD he is from TEXAS and wish she and those like here were not from here..... cuz they don't belong here.

Excellent point about the Alamo. In addition to FDR specifically using Pearl Harbor in his campaign literature, here's another one to consider: The RATS and the news media have been using images of the JFK assassination for years to political effect... seems to me that they are exploiting the pain of the Kennedy family for political gain.
Lying hypocrites.
