Back in '59 I paid 25 cents per gallon but only was making $1.70 per hour. With inflation taken into the equasion we should be paying $10.00 per gallon.

In 59, refineries were very archaic. I paid 29 cents a gallon at Mobil in 1972. I dont think you can compare business models from 59, with 2004.
Premium has in the last 4 weeks, gone from 1.79 to 250 in So. California. There is no rational reason for this!!

But what's troubling to me is just how quickly inflation / prices have caught up during the W administration.
When stupid Bubba was king gas was half as expensive.
