at the end of the day Orange County will vote no by plus 200,000 votes.

More like an additional 100,000 "no's"..... IF the precinct vote tracks the absentee vote. Probably actually more like 80 thou additional, I'd say.

Arnold probably lives around the corner. There are about ten blocks with 5 million dollar plus homes, lined up on half acre lots on quiet streets north of Sunset, running up to the Santa Monica mountains.

He's kidding. I'd love to see it go down though ah I don't think the votes are there to dispatch it.

Latest returns: 70% polls reporting on Prop 55 (doesn't look good):

Prop 55 - Education Bond
YES - 2,135,127 (50.9)
NO - 2,065,766 (49.1)

The "Yes" margin has jumped from 1% to nearly 2%. : (

At the moment, it needs to overcome a 70,000 deficit. Since I'm certain the yes votes, even in Orange County, will still be up there...Prop. 55 will pass.

Huh? You want Prop. 55 to pass?

Oh nononononononononono. I want to see it go down in flames.

GoldstateGOP made mention that its lead would pass. I took that to mean that it wouldn't last. Now that I read it again, I see I misinterpreted what he said and instead inserted my own hopes into the way he phrased it.

I can't imagine the anger I would have if I had kids. The schools here are so bad, I would home school, probably.

Here our Sheriff wants a half cent tax increase to pay for law enforcement. That would make it a 9% sales tax in L.A County. Its slated for the November ballot.

VBA? Is the voting system just an Excel spreadsheet or something?

"The latest numbers on 55 do not mirror your sunny outlook."

You're right. But click on the yes counties and you'll see that they are either all in or have small populations.

Now click on those red counties down South, Orange, San Diego and San Bernardino...low return percentages and big NO leads...I think that's positive.

Now I admit that LA County has a lot of votes to count, but LA is close.

That's but one of the reasons I planned to move out of California in 2005. The state is self-destructing, and I refuse to let it take me with it.
